Doña Ana Community College will host two free workshops in November to help students complete their 2027-28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), according to a DACC announcement.

The first session runs Thursday, Nov. 5, from 2 to 9 p.m. at the East Mesa Campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., in the Academic Resources Building, Room 203G. The second is Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Espina Campus, 3400 S. Espina St., in Alex Sanchez Hall, Room 107.

Both workshops are open to incoming and current college students.

What to do before you go

DACC said students should create an account at StudentAid.gov before attending. They will need their Social Security number or, for non-U.S. citizens, an A-number.

What to bring

According to DACC, students should have the following on hand:

  • 2025 federal income tax returns (students' and parents', if applicable)
  • Contributor information needed for the application
  • Records of child support received
  • Records of assets
  • A list of colleges or universities they are interested in attending

DACC's early registration period begins Nov. 12, according to the college's academic calendar.
